Product review: Vitamin C Tablets

Just over a month ago I was given the opportunity to try out A. Vogel's Vitamin C tablets, vitamin tablets with natural vitamin C. Having recently taken time off work for being so run down, I have been determined to take better care of myself, this seemed a good starting point.

Vitamin C supports the immune system, as well as other body functions. Vitamin C helps protects body cells from the oxidative (chemical) stresses faced daily, reducing the feeling of tiredness.

A. Vogel's tablets are made with fruit extracts, rather than a synthetic supplement.

I didn't want to offer a review based on taste, etc, alone- I wanted to see whether my health was impacted by taking them.

The benefits of the tablets are:

  • Rich in naturally occurring vitamin C
  • Helps support immune system function
  • Made from extracts of a wide variety of fruit
  • Chewable tablet
I was surprised by the taste and texture of the tablets. I have terrible memories of vitamin supplements as a child. These were fine- better than fine. I was quite happy to take them twice a day, without an inward cringe. In my head the tablets tasted of peaches, although having looked at the wide variety of fruit juices used, peaches aren't listed- my taste buds are rubbish!

As suspected, the benefits weren't overnight. The headaches I was suffering did continue initially.
A couple of weeks in the headaches stopped, and a month on I'm feeling ok.

Vitamin tablets aren't a miracle cure, and can't be cited as the single reason I feel better.
But, I do feel better for taking the tablets. I know my lifestyle doesn't lead me to having the healthiest diet, consistently.
These tablets will go some way to making sure I have a fall back.

With children there's even more of an emphasis on looking after myself, making sure I have the energy to make the most of every moment.
These Vitamin C tablets will go some way to helping me achieve this.

Disclosure: I received Nature C tablets for the purposes of this review. All opinions expressed are my own.

  1. I am glad that I found a review about this vitamin because my sister wants to change her vitamin C tablets. I am using pgx daily but I want to take vitamin C too because I don’t feel healthy if I don’t take any vitamins.

  2. Talk about the kids having it better than you as far as vitamins are concerned. I wonder if those online drugstore chains have these on their listing?

  3. I agree that it is rich in vitamin C because it is currently my source of that vitamin. I really love the taste so sometimes I am tempted to chew another one.
