Project #365 - Week #31
Our week that was:
Sunday: Our children were baptised.
Monday: Another of Squeaks deciding she didn't want to sleep in her bed. I love the paraphernalia that now accompanying her post bedtime wanderings.
Tuesday: She must be missing school as she's now happy to practice handwriting.
Wednesday: The boys were very excited to find someone willing to purchase their train tickets.
Thursday: The weekly trip to London.
Friday: It's been sooooo long since one of my children has fallen asleep anywhere other than a bed or car seat.
Saturday: a rather pensive start to the excitement that was The Gruffalo's Child Live.

Oh that dress is gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteHope you enjoyed the gruffalo!
Thank you :) I ordered it in the sale at Debenhams and was so impressed with the detail. And given she had a strop for the 15mins before she put it on...!
DeleteAnd yes, the Gruffalo charmed me all over again!
I would buy a ticket from them so cute
ReplyDeleteI fear for their teenage years!
Deleteits so warm they really needed to nap during the day, hope he not coming down with something. Love the dress, and hope they enjoyed the gruffalo child.
ReplyDeleteI know, between the glorious weather and the excitement it's so tiring and so easy to get dehydrated. Fortunately it was overcome by a good nap.
Deletefab shots honey xx
ReplyDeleteThank you x Some weeks are a lot easier than others! x
Deletei hope the baptism went well and i LOVE the detail and colour of Squeak's dress sooo pretty. and i am envious of the Gruffallo live - was it any good? x
ReplyDeleteThanks Jenny, it really did turn out to be perfect- especially given hindsight as I did spend the evening kicking myself for everything! Would definitely recommend the Gruffalo- especially to reinforce the need for a big cwtch when things get scary!!
DeleteHer dress is beautiful and I love how well she's doing at writing her name!
ReplyDeleteThanks for linking up to Project 365.
Thank you :) I do get paranoid about her taking my lazy attitude to learning ;)
DeleteI love the picture of your daughter asleep with the cat there as well and I hope the Gruffalo was good!
ReplyDeleteThank you. It does make me giggle that the cats can be reserved as they like during the day, but they love a bit of comfort as much as the rest of us!
DeleteI love the tent photo, they have such cheeky faces! Was the Grufallo's child good? It's coming to Cheltenham and I'm thinking about taking A
ReplyDeleteThanks :) I would definitely get a ticket, it's near an hour without a break which I like (avoids the ice-cream) and it just a nice one for keeping the momentum (whereas the Gruffalo felt like too much of a build up in comparison). And the guy who plays the Gruffalo, and lots of other characters, is amazing!
Deletelove that the cat snuggled up with her too..
ReplyDeleteOur grandson generally only falls asleep in bed, buggy or the car but my son found him asleep resting his head on the washing machine a few days ago..
I love that image. I would imagine it's one of the repetitive things- like they say about the car when they are newborns- but for love nor money can I imagine it as an adult!
