Will you help Santa this Christmas?

Along with thoughts of whether Santa Claus will select the right gifts for my children this year is the thought as to whether the elves will be able to make them in time.

Having been introduced to flexible working, reasonable adjustments and welfare policies I can't help but wonder how Santa copes.

So, when an email popped up on behalf of a Mr S. Claus of the North Pole and Greenpeace in dire need of assistance it was easy to see how the needs of the Elves needed to be prioritised.

Because this is the thing, that place, the one your children know their gifts are brought to life, well, without your help their home, Santa Claus' livelihood and (most importantly) all the presents for the world’s children this Christmas will be under water and ruined – as climate change continues to melt the ice on which his Christmassy empire is built.

And because I definitely can't break it to my children that Christmas will be cancelled, with Santa will be homeless, destitute and clinically fed-up.
Well, I need your help!
Please visit Greenpeace and sign the petition to protect the Arctic.
Please do your bit to make sure the Elves retain the working conditions that will make all of our children happy this Christmas.

  1. This would be a fun activity for kids and they might enjoy it well. But the good thing is they learn a lot from such activities.

  2. It's nice that you describe it. It's good to read about it.
