This week we've made good progress.
With the added benefit of realising we've been joining in the National Trust's 50 things to do before you're 11 3/4.
The following day we met friends for a picnic at Cosmeston Lakes & Country Park. Whilst we attempted to set up round the corner from the park to avoid distractions, adventure can be found everywhere.
Following successful kite flying fun at Fontegary a couple of weeks ago, we decided the cheer the boys up after their pre-school jabs by taking a new monster kite to Barry Island. It turns out this was to much of a monster for the boys but lots of fun was had as mummy took control and lots of crashes were observed!
And the day was completed with the favourite family fun. Despite this happening everytime we are always completely unprepared for everyone going in the sea fully clothed!
So, here's hoping we can get lots more ticked off the list over the next few weeks!
What a great start to the list - with all the family joining in! I'm sure you will all have a lovely summer ticking off more activities from the list. Thanks for linking up and sharing with Country Kids.
ReplyDeleteBrilliant start to the list, and here's to doing the rest of them! Love the beach photos. :)

ReplyDeleteAwww what a nice way to spend the day! Rolling down the hill looks so much fun! We were at the beach yesterday and we saw this massive kite in the sky and my son loves it so much he wont stop looking at it! #countrykids
ReplyDeleteI love the fairy princess in the tree! Looks like you have been having loads of fun :)
