Life is wonderful.
Time really does fly by.
We will have been in Wales three years this October.
Last year we were blessed that we had a houseful of Mr J's childhood friends as we celebrated the children's baptism.
But his bestest friend was missing, and as it would turn out (thanks to the wonderful gadgetry of TimeHop) it has been two years to the week since we have seen them.
And so, they spent the week with us.
Our children couldn't have been more excited. Counting down the sleeps to their arrival.
Mr J couldn't have been on better form.
Back to being content in his own home, and happy in the company of his bestie.
And it was great to catch up with Mrs G, it's hard to believe two years have past.
But our children keenly demonstrate this is the case.
Camp fires, take aways, body boarding, loom bands, kite flying, and cricket.
And, I'll be honest- our kitchen has never been so clean.
And so, as our friends leave, we're just left hoping it won't be longer than this time next year 'til they return.
