About Johnson Babies

"Don't you know you've got your daddy's eyes"
I'm Debbie.
I'm a mum to three children-
They have blonde hair and blue eyes.
It confuses teachers when I turn up for parents evening.
My daughter, Seren, was born in March 2009.
My two sons, Tom and Seb, born in Jan 2011.

I became a Johnson in 2010.

We moved from West Yorkshire to South Wales in 2011.
With Miller, the dippy cocker-spaniel;

and Fred & Ginger- our female cats (wish we'd known that when we named them);

After Seren was born, Mr J and I swapped roles when she reached six months and he became a 'stay-at-home dad'. We've done the same thing this time, the boys turned six months, I went back to work and now Mr J's entertaining our three little ones.

I love my job, but I hate not spending all day every day with my children.
I work sort of in construction, sort of in training, but not really in either.

And I decided to start a blog.
I am not too sure about this blog, sometimes I find it rather self-indulgent, being all about my family and other friends.
I don't really have any hidden talents, or talents for that matter.
I like to read, listen to music, write.
I like my job, most days.

I have always wanted to take good photographs, hopefully between the blog and moving back to Wales where I can take a night class without trying to figure out childcare- I'll achieve this ambition.

And on the plus side, at least this blog saves me chewing the ear off people who don't want to listen.
I'm pretty good at talking!

I really do hope you enjoy reading 'Johnson babies' as it does mean I lot to me.

I am a very happy to receive PR requests, if you would like to discuss reviews or competitions on my blog, or attending an event please contact me via email at johnsonbabies@outlook.com

My reviews are written with honesty and integrity, I write a mix of reviews which cover our family life, from toys and food, to days out and our favourite- books and theatre. My posts also detail the nature of the review. You can find examples of my reviews on the review page.

  1. Thanks for joining in. I hope your move soon goes really well. Your boys look so cute in their cot together, I had to laugh at you saying a change table is a necessity but not for actually chnaging! lol

  2. Sorry posted in the wrong place! doh

  3. Yorkshire met Wales with us too....I am born and bred in Wales and my other half is a Yorkshire man who moved to live with me in Wales :)
